Pesach 2023

This Pesach we are focusing on the freedom we can bestow on the hundreds of children with additional needs that our beneficiary organisations support.

In 2022 thanks to our generous donors, JCD awarded £160,000 of grants to purchase wheelchairs, incubators and other life-saving equipment, supporting children with complex disabilities including muscular dystrophy, brain damage, and blindness.

We believe that all children regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to live life to the fullest and reach their potential, and this is why we are so passionate about supporting children just like Daniel.

Daniel is an eight-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy. His disability affects many aspects of his life, and often he isn’t able to join in activities that other boys his age get to experience. Jewish Child’s Day donated a specially adapted wheelchair for Daniel, giving him the ability to move independently.
Now Daniel is a happy young man who is free to join his family and friends outside, free to join in with therapeutic activities, and free to live his life to the fullest.

Daniel is one of many children with a disability who require specialist equipment to help them in their daily lives. For Daniel, it was the freedom of mobility. For others it may be the freedom to hear, the freedom to see, or even breathe. However, the specialist equipment, which is so vital to these children’s lives, is costly.

We would not be able to do this without you. Please give generously and make a Jewish Child’s Day –https://support.jcd.uk.com/donate/
