Jewish Child’s Day teamed up with Goods For Good on a fantastic humanitarian aid project, which is at the heart of what the charity stands for.

Kids4Kids is all about mobilising the Jewish community here in the UK, especially kids, to help less fortunate children in Israel.

In April, a number of synagogues in the Greater London area will open their doors to receive bags of unwanted but good condition childrens’ clothing and stationery. The timing was fantastic as we cleared out our unwanted goods in time for Pesach.  Many of the projects that Jewish Child’s Day supports will benefit from everything you all donated.

After being delivered to your local synagogue, the goods were collected and taken to a central warehouse where they were packaged up by a group of volunteers and sent  to Israel. On arrival in Israel, the goods will be distributed to a number of children’s homes, who have specifically requested our help.

So many of you played a part in this fantastic initiative whether it’ was clearing out unwanted clothes and stationery, volunteering in your local synagogue or the KIDS4KIDS central warehouse or even helping raise funds to sponsor a lorry to deliver the goods to Israel!

You have all brought smiles to so many Jewish children and thank you for making their day.

The following projects requested our help:

Amit, Orr Shalom, and Gimmel Foundation
