The Saba (Grandpa) Jack Integrative Therapeutic Centre in Israel provides riding therapy and animal-assisted therapy to 550 children coping with physical disabilities, as well as behavioural or emotional issues.
Jewish Child’s Day is proud to have supported The Saba Jack Centre, allowing them to continue the therapeutic horse-riding program during Covid-19.
The therapeutic horse-riding programme uses a holistic approach, joining the physical activity of riding and the non-verbal processes that facilitate emotional openness, enabling the expression and processing of emotions.
