Sonshine Club in the UK helps disadvantaged children with a range of learning disabilities.

Many of the children that Sonshine Club support find regular daily tasks difficult or impossible. Some are totally reliant on parents & carers and others find processing their surroundings overwhelming, resulting in challenging behaviour and a lack of social life.

Throughout the year, they run innovative after-school programmes designed to encourage increased physical activity and healthy living, build self-esteem and foster inclusion.

During lockdown, they distributed home kits to children including arts & crafts, gardening and baking kits and they are starting a new library to lend out sensory and motor skills equipment and toys.
