Nachal was arrested while carrying a small amount of drugs and, between his criminal record and being a high school dropout, he did not qualify for IDF service. Nachal has been working hard to get his life back on track. He was referred to DVI by Chut HaMeshulash, one of the many organisations working with at-risk youth, that refer to DVI. Nachal hopes to eventually study and become either a car mechanic or locksmith. However, during the pandemic, he has been able to support himself by making some deliveries.
“On behalf of the Dental Volunteers for Israel Board of Directors, I wish to express our appreciation for your generous funds. JCD’s support allows DVI to keep our doors open to provide totally free oral health care and education to thousands of low-income children and at-risk every year!” – Michelle Levine, Development & International Relations, DVI.
