Jewish Child’s Day is a loyal supporter of ADI centers in Israel, caring for children and adults with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We greatly appreciate the adaptive chairs donated by Jewish Child’s Day, which provide proper support to each child and enable them to sit upright and participate in daily programming.
For some of the children of ADI, the chairs also enhance their ability to walk; Rom, a sweet boy living at ADI Jerusalem, had learned to walk, but getting him out of the wheelchair was a complicated process. Thanks to JCD, Rom received an adaptive chair especially suited to his specific needs. He can now easily get up from the chair, and he is happy to practice his mobility skills and exert his independence.
