Criteria

At Jewish Child’s Day we aim to assist disabled, disadvantaged, neglected or abused Jewish children worldwide.

We do this through awarding financial grants to organisations that have programs which help those children. Grants may be given for items of equipment or a specific project. Grants are never made to individuals or for capital projects.

All grants made must directly benefit children up to the age of 18.

Jewish Child’s Day is a pluralist organisation and therefore will support projects from all sections of the Jewish community.

Applications can only be made once a year and are only considered when supported by audited accounts. First-time applicants will receive an on-site visit by a representative from Jewish Child’s Day. Jewish Child’s Day often has local representatives who can perform inspections, keeping travel expenses to a minimum.

Applications will only be accepted from organisations with a current registered charity number. Applicants who have dedicated UK fundraising operations are required to disclose that information on application.
