Mission to Israel

captain slider2

In mid-March, we travelled to Israel with 15 donors on our very first Mission to Israel.  Our itinerary was balanced between visits to projects that we support together with some cultural tours and visits to places such as the Knesset.

A humbling experience was had by all but don’t just take our word for it…  please see the testimonials below.

It was an amazing experience and one which I shall never forget- thank you for allowing me to share this special event with you all.
It must be difficult deciding which projects to support as there are so many deserving causes. I think you do a great job and I can only imagine how upsetting it must be to have to refuse help because you can’t do everything.  David

It was a very memorable few days and a great trip which was very well organised and gave me a feel for the scope of the work  of JCD.  Jonathan

The work you and your colleagues do is inspiring and so meaningful to see first hand how your donations and grants make a difference.  The projects were heart wrenching and the only way that I managed was to consciously keep a firm pull on my emotions.  Gillian

It was such an amazing experience to see all the good work that JCD does, from small things such as iPads to the larger projects.  It just shows that a small amount can make such a huge difference to the lives of the children and enable them to make choices and reach their individual potential which we will all take for granted for our own children.  Lisa
